Most of our baskets have a plastic inner liner. This is designed to keep out splashes, but we don’t recommend planting the plant directly in the basket. Always use a planter pot and check after watering to make sure no water has pooled in the liner.

Our baskets are primarily designed for indoor use. Outdoors, they’ll weather much faster due to the Dutch rain and sun and lose their sturdiness. For your patio, you’re better off choosing from our collection of outdoor planters.
