The Philodendron Scandens Brasil originates from the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. There are many different types of Philodendrons. Most Philodendrons are climbing plants. In the wild, they grow upwards with their aerial roots to capture some light. Philodendrons can be placed in a shady spot, but this houseplant prefers a spot with plenty of indirect light. The potting soil should remain slightly moist, without a layer of water remaining on the bottom. Water the Philodendron once or twice a week, paying attention to whether it's summer or winter. The plant needs less water in winter. Spray the plant regularly with a plant sprayer to simulate tropical humidity.
