Nepeta × faassenii, also known as catnip, is a strong and profusely flowering perennial with aromatic grey-green foliage and countless lavender-blue flowers from late spring well into summer. This popular plant is ideal for borders, edges, and mass planting, where it provides a loose, natural look and adds long-lasting color. Nepeta × faassenii prefers a sunny location and well-drained soil, is low-maintenance, and very hardy. Furthermore, it attracts many bees and butterflies and is highly drought-tolerant.
