The Aloe Vera family is native to warm climates around the world. This succulent is easy to care for. The Aloe Vera gel is used in cosmetics, drinks, and creams. Place the Aloe Vera in a bright spot indoors. The plant can tolerate direct sunlight and is accustomed to dry air. If you place the plant in a location with plenty of sunlight, give it some extra water. Generally, the Aloe Vera doesn't need much water. Water is stored in the leaves. If the leaf tips turn red or brown, you can water the plant. After a few days, the tips will turn green again. In winter, the plant can go without water for several weeks.
