This planter is specially designed to make placing heavy nursery pots very easy. Thanks to a fully removable side panel and a smooth base, the planter can be easily slid into place.
This corten steel planter has a warm and robust appearance. This is due to the orange-brown color of the material, which forms due to a natural rust layer. Another name for corten steel is weather-resistant steel: weather conditions have a positive effect on this planter.
Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, and chromium have been added. When exposed to the outdoors, the material is coated with a protective layer of rust. This natural rust layer protects against further corrosion. This gives the planter a long lifespan.

- Rust can be fixed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating anti-rust agent that forms a protective layer against rust. Owatrol protects the planter and prevents the corten steel from staining.
Important points:
- Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt so that any moisture is not trapped between the packaging and the product. This can cause irregular rust stains.
- Ensure good drainage.
- Do not use an overflow pipe; excess water should not remain in the corten steel planter. The material can then rust through due to a combination of oxygen and soil.
- Do not use hydro grains: they retain moisture.
- We recommend against using Corten steel within a 2 km radius of a coastline.
- During the rusting process, rust water may escape from the product.
- The warranty is void if you drill or grind in a manner not specified.
PLANTATION ADVICE:
- Provide a layer of Ø35 mm pebbles (approx. 10 cm) at the bottom.
- Lay a permeable root barrier fabric over the pebbles.
- Cover the root barrier fabric with soil suitable for your type of planting.
- Do not use an overflow pipe; No water should remain in the corten steel planter.
