The TRIANGLE is - as the name suggests - a triangular corten steel planter. Its unique geometric shape makes it perfect for creating playful arrangements that fill awkward spaces in your garden. Or to easily fill an interior corner with greenery.

Features of the Corten Steel Triangle Planter

A new shape, characterized by the same angles as a set square. Our Corten steel TRIANGLE has a warm appearance and can also be beautifully combined with other Corten steel elements in the garden. For when you want something a little different!

The planter's warm appearance comes from the orange-brown color of the material. This color is formed by a natural rust layer. Another name for Corten steel is weather-resistant steel: weather conditions have a positive effect on this planter.

Corten steel is a metal alloy consisting of iron to which copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, and chromium have been added. When exposed to the outdoors, the material is coated with a protective rust layer. This natural rust layer protects against further corrosion. This means you can enjoy the TRIANGLE for years to come.

Corten steel planters are very strong, wear-resistant, weather-resistant, low-maintenance, and durable.
Includes feet (15 mm) and drainage holes. This ensures that the planter floats slightly above the ground and provides optimal drainage.
The standard thickness of the corten steel is 2 mm.

Products are supplied unrusted. The rusting process of corten steel takes approximately 4-5 months, depending on weather conditions. With our rust accelerator, you can accelerate the rusting of your planter.
Rust can be fixed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating anti-rust agent that forms a protective layer against rusting. Owatrol protects the planter and prevents the corten steel from staining.

Important points:

Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt so that any moisture is not trapped between the packaging and the product. This can cause irregular rust stains.
Ensure proper drainage.
Do not use an overflow pipe: excess water should not remain in the corten steel planter. The material can then rust through due to a combination of oxygen and soil.
Do not use hydro grains: they retain moisture.
We recommend avoiding Corten steel within a 2 km radius of a coastline.
During the rusting process, rust water may be released from the product.

PLANTATION ADVICE:

Provide a layer of Ø35 mm pebbles (approx. 10 cm) at the bottom.
Lay a permeable root barrier fabric over the pebbles.
Cover the root barrier fabric with soil suitable for your type of planting.
Do not use an overflow pipe: excess water should not remain in the Corten steel planter. The material can then rust through due to a combination of oxygen and soil.
