Mediterranean plants place high demands on the potting soil they grow in. After all, they grow slowly and often remain in the same pot or tub for a long time. Suitable for:

Properties:
Culvita Mediterranean Potting Soil combines the best types of peat with coconut fibre to create an optimal growing medium. Clay has been added for better water management. Lime is added to achieve the correct pH value. Nutrients come from a special NPK fertilizer with trace elements, providing sufficient nutrition for the first six weeks. An organic fertilizer is also included for the first six months. RhizoPlus has been added to Culvita Mediterranean Potting Soil.

Although this product contains fertilizer, it will be necessary to fertilize over time, depending on your plants' needs. RhizoPlus is a mixture of mycorrhiza and other rhizosphere bacteria and fungi. Adding RhizoPlus will accelerate and facilitate the absorption of nutrients and water. Furthermore, RhizoPlus promotes the natural balance.

Application

Remove the plant's root ball from the pot. Remove any loose soil.
Use only clean pots. Clean the new pot and soak it in water for a while.
Place a shard over the bottom hole, sprinkle a layer of Culvita Mediterranean Potting Soil in the pot, and place the plant on top. Fill the pot to the brim and add some soil to the root ball. Press it down lightly. Press firmly along the edge. Water as needed.

For better drainage, we recommend adding a layer of Culvita Hydrograins to the bottom of the pot.
