Kolibri Orchids | Orchid bark

Want to repot your Kolibri Orchids? Use our orchid bark. This bark, specially developed for orchids, meets all the specific substrate requirements this plant requires. Since orchids grow with their roots in the air and draw their nutrients from it, the substrate must be airy. Furthermore, the water must drain well to prevent root rot!

How do I repot my orchid?

Remove the orchid from the plastic pot.
Cut away the rotten roots (these are black).
Submerge the orchid in lukewarm water and place it in the new pot.
Sprinkle the new bark into the pot and press it down gently.
